God will not abide where there is sin

The brutal killings of our young girls and women seem like a recurring nightmare plaguing our nation.
One would ask how could someone look at a 14-year-old girl, rape, kill, and then burn her body; or think to chop and kill a mother and her 10-year-old son and have no remorse? Well, in this day and age, the heart of men have waxed cold towards each other.
One would think that crime and violence would have decreased since we have so many churches in the country. But in order for our country to be crime-free we need to rid sin from our churches. God will not abide where there is sin. The church cannot say that it's praying for the country to end the killing spree when some of its members are doing wrong.
We need young men to stand up like men and be the defenders and protectors they ought to be for our women and children instead of inflicting wounds. We need to come together as a people and decide enough is enough. We need to get rid of corruption from the top first so we can see a resolution to crime and violence. We also have to look within ourselves and see where we have gone wrong in how we parent our children.
